Well, it's holiday season and you know things have slowed down in the MMA world not just the MMA world, but just in the fight world in general

I think during this time it's always been historically kind of slow time of year and then leading into the first two weeks of the new year

I think it's just been slow but you know what I'm here still podcast Dave is still here and we're just going to keep keeping this show going for the next

couple weeks until we finally get some fights.

But let's go ahead and talk about the fallout of the Jake Paul situation.

And, you know, I've just, I've had time now to kind of take it in, you know, and podcast

Dave and I were talking about this off screen.

There's a lot of people that are criticizing him. Well, it's not, it's not heroic or courageous because you made so much money. Look, there's a lot of things that people will do for money and sure they'll get their job broke and sure they'll go ahead and step inside there with someone who's a professional boxer. Those are all things because you have someone to save you. You have a referee. You've got judges. You've got other people to save you from the situation. But look, a lot of people talk about it. But when it finally comes down to actually getting inside that ring or that cage, a lot of people just won't do it. They'll find ways and excuses to get out of it. And I want to just, like, I'm in no way am I putting Jake Paul up onto a pedestal, but he took a chance. It didn't work out. I'm not here to bag on him for that at all. And I had told you guys too shortly after Big John had left the show and went back to Refereen. I just basically said, look, I'm going to try to keep this show, this show a little bit more positive. I'm going to try to push it in the positive and have more of a positive narrative in everything that I do. Look, negativity I know is what sells. And I know, but that's not what that's not the direction that I'm looking to go on this. I'm looking to play matchmaker right now. I think the best thing to do would be Jake Paul and Andrew Tate. Let's take the two guys that lost. Let's take the format that the UFC does.

And they take two guys that have lost and have a little bit of a name. And they say,

you know what, we're going to pair those guys against each other. And one of them gets a win and we move on.

I mean, what better world do we live in right now to have to have fights like the what if fights?

And I want to give everyone a reminder that pride was such a huge success because we

had these freak show fights. You had the pro wrestlers fighting real MMA guys and they normally

didn't work out and, you know, there was a lot of talk of works going on back then. But in

this situation, there's there's been talk before and the past of and jake paul fighting they're finally they're about the same size like jake paul's not fighting a guy who's you know like a jervate davison 135 pounds soaking wet he's not fighting him he's not fighting a 55-year-old or a 60-year-old.

He's fighting a guy who's relatively, I know he's a little bit older. Jake, what, the answer 10, I think is, what, 40 years old? But, yeah, he's 40 years old. Like, that's a fight. He's a professional kickboxer slash boxer, whatever. Jake Paul coming off of his loss. They're around the same. I would not mind seeing that fight.

Netflix a fight that everybody wants to see. I think, look, if it's free and I don't got to pay

on this whole freak show fight stuff, as long as you continue to give me the fights that people want to see. I wanted to see the Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul fight. I wanted to see how it all went about. And I sat there and I watched. And sure, was it a great fight? No, it was not a great fight. But you had a world-class
