1:02.4	I was born to teenage parents and then adopted at birth
1:05.2	I grew up in a wonderfully stable and loving middle-class environment and I have no complaints with the way I was raised
1:10.5	I turned 30 last year and decided to search out my biological parents
1:14.4	I decided it was time because I felt like I was ready to accept these people for who they were and figure out the rest of the story
1:20.4	Not just because I wanted medical history or because I was curious even though I do want those things
1:24.8	But because I was ready to do it for reasons that I felt were non-selfish
1:29.1	After unsuccessfully trying to contact them through more standard means
1:32.4	I got an ancestry DNA test within three weeks of getting the results
1:36.5	I had done the family history work to match my DNA with actual people and make contact with my biological parents
1:42.6	I've had a chance to talk on the phone and meet in person with both of them and additionally some of their relatives
