0:49.7	good plan. So let's cut to it. Hey Jordan Jason and the AOC team. I'm a graduate student who's
0:55.2	getting my PhD in chemistry very soon and I'm in the process of looking for jobs. I joked with
1:00.4	one of my colleagues at university about finding jobs in the field. At first he had nothing for me,
1:05.0	but a week or so later he emailed me with an offer of a warm introduction to a guy who works at
1:09.6	a huge chemical company. As he puts it, I know this guy, albeit not well, but we overlapped a bit.
1:15.6	Do you want an introduction? I said, of course I do. It can't hurt, but at the same time I have
1:19.8	little to no idea on what I should do with this opportunity. Do I simply ask him about what it's
1:24.9	like to work for the company? How do I ask if he's heard of any available jobs? Do I talk about
1:29.6	myself or look up his PhD work? I'm nervous about wasting an opportunity that someone else,
1:34.5	whom I respect, is willing to put forward for me. Thanks for all you do at AOC. Signed,
