This month called Awesome Marriage, we've been talking about family issues when it comes to marriage. So many marriage issues end up stemming

from family conflict. And we get so many requests daily here at Awesome Marriage about how to

deal with these types of situations with our family. So we wanted to just take some time to

address some of these big family issues this month here at Awesome Marriage. Today we're going to be specifically talking about family drama.

So Dr. Kim, what is family drama? If you had to define it, what would you say?

Oh, my gosh. I know. And I was just thinking the people listening, they can also say, boy, I can define that, you know, because we all, I think you'll remember.

We all probably, you know, if you're in a family that there is no drama, just feel really,

really blessed.

I mean, because it just happens in every family.

And that's not negative.

It's just the reality of people and differences and stuff.

So family drama, I think, is anything that really distracts us from focusing on the things in our marriage and in our

life and our family that we're really important to want to it's a distraction that's because usually

what happens with family drama there's not an easy solution for it so it's not like I don't consider

family drama when you've got a reality that comes you with a problem says let's can you help me

figure this out that's not family drama.

That's problem solving.

That's come alongside each other in a family.
