Summary
It began innocently enough: a mirror tile, cracked and ordinary, salvaged by the father. But once hung in their hallway, the mirror began to reflect things it shouldn’t. Watches showed wrong times. Faces appeared in the fogged glass. Black fingerprints reappeared after cleaning. Even the family dog refused to cross its threshold.
When the father tried to dispose of the mirror at the dump, it returned the next day, neatly wrapped under their hallway table. As events escalated, scratching noises emerged from within the wrapped package, and water rose in the house only to stop at the height where the mirror once hung.
Finally, desperate, the family pushed the wrapped mirror into the canal — watching as it floated, turned, and briefly revealed something dark before sinking into the water.
