At the same time, there are false teachers in that time as there are today that are trying to deceive Christians.

And they're trying to deceive people to keep them out of the kingdom of God.

spiritual teachers. Today, Rawl will urge us to steer clear of those who claim to follow God

while walking a deceptive, self-gratifying path.

Taking advantage of anyone susceptible to their lies,

these counterfeit leaders will draw you far from the simple truth of the gospel.

Today's lesson is titled False Teachers Walk in the Flesh.

In 2 Peter chapter 2, beginning in verse 10, here's Roll Rees second second peter chapter two is probably one of the most

intense chapters in the new testament and the reason i say that is going back to study second peter

chapter two it has to do and it teaches concerning the false teachers that are walking in the flesh.

This is a chapter that Peter takes much time to share with us. As he begins in chapter 2, let's go back

just for a little bit. We're going to be dealing with verses 10 through 17 to 9, but he starts in

verse 1. He says, but there will be false

prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring

in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them and bring on themselves swift

destruction.

And many will follow their destructive ways because of whom the way of truth will be blasphoned by covetousness.

They will exploit you with deceptive words.
