when you're like tired of your house, when you're completely over the whole thing. And you just

really don't know how to make your house feel like a home again.

And so I'm going to give you guys some tips today

on practical things you can do

so that you can fall in love with your house once again

because nobody feels like living in a place

that they literally do not like coming

home to. So I'm going to tell you guys a funny little Indian proverb that I had a decorator

tell me years and years ago. I was, I can remember I was at a job site and I was talking to her and I was telling her you know how I was redoing

something yet again in my house like you know repainting the walls again for the hundredth time or something like that and she said that somebody had told her once

And so I know that sounds a little theatrical

and a little morbid, but basically the point of that was that your house is always

supposed to be in a state of transition. We're always supposed to be an ongoing project like there never is really a point

Usually where anybody feels like their house is done and so for those of us who feel almost guilty at times

about the constant need to be refreshing and updating

and those sorts of things we don't need to be feeling guilty about that at all.

It's actually very very normal.
