Joe Troman, lead guitarist and co-founder of Fall Out Boy. I first met Joe in 2006 when I did a feature on the band and then spent more time with him the next year when I wrote Fall Boys Rolling Stone cover story.

And I've gotten to know him pretty well over the years, but Joe has a new book called None of this Rocks, and it's a very different kind of Rock memoir.

It's both very funny and very poignant, very revealing.

So why did you want to write a book? So why did you want to write a book?

Well, I didn't want to write a book at first.

So I started in a very roundabout way,

kind of like writing in television.

And so through that I got a literary manager

So my lit manager one day was like you've had an interesting life you can write I think you should write a book and I said I absolutely never want to do that
