.The Quest for Enlightenment begins with the need for wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to connect the dots, to foresee the future. Imagine if you had the ability today to make the choices that would create the future you long for?

Two people can go through the same trauma and have radically different experiences. One can emerge broken and fragile, while the other emerges stronger and more resilient. The key is perseverance founded in faithfulness, which is where wisdom begins.

Erwin shares that the journey of faithfulness is one you cannot take alone - it requires a community. We all fail, we all fall, we all stumble; but you need someone with you on the journey to help pick you up!

0:34.0	We traveled through this realization that all of us need to begin with humility, and that
0:39.0	humility becomes the context from which integrity is formed in us, and integrity becomes
0:44.8	that virtue that gives us the courage to make our choices and to create a life that goes
0:53.2	beyond our own capacity that pushes us into faith and pushes us into the impossible.
1:01.1	We also began a quest for nobility where we journeyed together to discover what it means
1:06.2	to live a truly generous life, and we found that generosity is the outflow of the wholeness
1:11.4	that God brings into our lives and that wholeness comes out of a life of gratitude.
1:18.2	And so tonight we're beginning our third quest, and this quest is the quest for enlightenment.
1:29.7	I love the word enlightenment, it's so rich and full of possibilities, and so many times
1:36.9	we understand enlightenment as a word that is contextualized around the spirit of the
1:45.3	human, that there is a journey that takes us out of darkness into light, out of confusion
1:52.3	into clarity, out of doubt, into faith, out of fear, into hope.
2:00.2	And if you've ever been in that place in your life where you're just overwhelmed by life
2:03.8	and everything seems to be muddied and clouded, and you're wondering if you can actually find
2:09.3	your way through that moment in your life than you've known the need for enlightenment
2:13.8	in your life.
