0:55.2	and just share some things with you, oftentimes found right in the scripture and hopefully
1:00.1	presented in a way that helps you put those words into everyday life. Today and probably next week,
1:06.5	I want to narrow the focus of the episode to young men of faith. I'm talking about our teenagers,
1:14.8	our college students, 20-something, those who have not yet found that one they love, those who have,
1:21.9	those who have started a family. There are some consistent things you can do, you can think about, you can control yourself in, that will make this one of the greatest periods of your life.
1:34.2	And I say one of, because a good start almost guarantees a great finish in terms of life, service to the Lord, and family.
1:43.7	Our focus today is on Proverbs chapter 31,
1:47.6	which ought to confuse you a little bit. We normally think of that chapter as one design to
1:53.3	help godly young women, to learn how to be a wonderful wife and mother. And there is a large
1:59.6	chunk of that chapter devoted to such, and we
2:02.2	certainly will touch on that. But I think what surprises people is that Proverbs 31, firstly, was not
2:08.6	written by Solomon. It's a single chapter written by a man named King Lemuel. And he's not
2:15.3	writing up a prescription for the perfect wife. In fact, what he's doing in this
2:19.3	chapter is he's recounting the wonderful, godly advice that he had gotten from his mother. There were
2:26.6	some things. We'll note five things that she taught him about how to be a man of faith, how to be a leader,
