Isaiah chapter 52 verse 7.

How Beautiful Upon the Mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of

happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, your God reigns.

As we prepare to pray according to this verse, I want to tell you a story about a friend of mine

named Zameer.

Zameer is from Kashmir India, a place where there is very little access to the gospel.

In fact, we're going to pray for Kashmiri Muslims, 9 million of them. Very few followers of Jesus, just a handful, and

Zimir is one of them. He came to faith in Jesus because someone took the

risk to share the gospel with him and risk is the right word. It's not easy to share the gospel.

In this people group and this particular part of the world,

that somebody took the risk and published peace, brought good news of happiness and published salvation

to Zemir. He came to faith in Jesus and he was beaten by people who once loved him and he was kicked out of his house.

He lost some of his closest family and friends

as a result of trusting in Jesus.

But that's the point.

Zameer knows Jesus is his Savior, is the Lord of his life, is worthy of all of his life,

worthy of losing even the closest relationships and things he has in this world for and as a result

Zameer is giving his life going all over India and wherever else God might lead him to

published peace and bring good news of happiness and published salvation to others because he knows that this good news is not only

worth trusting with your life but it's worth giving your life to proclaim.
