that becomes meaningless if it is not activated by work.

James is concerned about people who don't know how to toggle, how to vacillate, or because

they're vacillating, who don't know how to put together the principle of faith and works

He begins verse 14 with the most important word that will help us to understand what he's

about to explain to us.

He says my brother in, my brother in, fellow Christian.

He says what use is it my brother in if a man says that he has faith and has no words,

can that faith save him?

That is the word that throws people when they see the word saved.

But the word saved in the Bible is used in three different tenses.
