Turn with me, please, to Mark chapter 9.

We began some weeks ago talking about faith for miracles.

Anybody in here believe in miracles?

If you don't, I hope you've changed your mind for the service is over.

I heard one fellow say that was used powerfully in this area of miracles and healings.

And somebody was telling him they didn't believe in all that kind of stuff.

He just looked at them and smiled and said, you will when you need one.

You get a lot more interested in it, don't you?

And a lot more open to it when it's the only thing that's going to get you out when you need one.

So let's don't wait until then.

Let's get our faith growing right now.

In Mark 9, there was an individual who brought his son to the disciples to get set free.

In verse 17, Mark 9, 17, one of the multitudes said, master, talking to Jesus, I have brought to you my son which had a dumb spirit.

Wherever he takes him, he tears him, and he foams and gnashes with his teeth and pines away.

And I spoke to your disciples that they should cast him out, and they could not.

Did you notice that?

He said they could not.

He answered him and said, oh, faithless generation, how long shall I be with you?

How long shall I suffer you?

Bring him to me.

What did Jesus say the problem was while they weren't getting results?

Faithless.
