The Hollywood Box Office was upended this past weekend by a special event screening of

Faith-Based Series The Chosen, an independent production about the life of Jesus and the

plight of his disciples.

The special in-theater screenings of episodes one and two from season three took third place

earning $8.2 million behind Disney's big budget superhero film Wakanda Forever in

a list star-packed mystery The Menu.

It successes turning heads in the entertainment world and opening up possibilities for faith-based

productions.
