Thanks for joining us. Hi everyone. This is your host, Kelly, from the Storytellers Live team. On each episode, a different woman shares her story, often in a live setting, with the bottom line being that God is good. We are so excited to have Amy as our storyteller today. While she considered herself a good works kid,

as she puts it, she found herself as an adult stuck in a pattern of making poor choices.

Sometimes even with the right heart, you can go in the wrong direction. And the shame that Amy

felt from these poor choices kept her from having confidence in herself and in her future.

It would take a long, painful journey through infertility, a lot of personal brokenness,

and an unexpected adoption to bring her to a place where she finally trusted God and believed

he had a good plan for her life.

Here is Amy.

So this half of the room I kind of know, and I feel like

they've heard my stories. They can critique me later. This is the newer half. But, you know, the way I

connected with Robin is kind of funny because I went randomly at a strange time to the nail shop

one day. Met a woman who just kind of opened up

about her story and vice versa, and she said, you really need to meet my friend, Dawn. You have this

sort of second story thing. She has this book and she explained it. And so Dawn and I connected, and then

a little bit later, I called her because I was attending Church of the Highlands,

wanted to do a Bible study, and thought I had this really good idea of this one woman sitting

each week in front of the room, sharing her story so women could connect.

And Dawn goes, wait, wait, you need to meet Robin.
