Hey guys, happy 2021. Wow, I can't believe we're here. We are back, your hosts of Fingers

Cross podcast. I'm Sierra. And I'm Christy. Welcome to the new year, everyone. We have all been looking forward to this moment for a long time.

And we're so happy to be here with you in this beautiful time that is probably actually going to look the exact same.

So we're still living in the past technically.

But we're very hopeful looking to the future of this next Tuesday that you're listening to this in the new year.

And you know, everything might feel the same because we're still in lockdown. The cases are still

terrible. It's just really, really a rough place to start the new year. But what we have right now

at the beginning of 2021 is we have hope and we have a whole new year ahead of us and we have hope

that how it is right now in January is not going to continue for the rest of the year and we have a whole new year ahead of us and we have hope that how it is right now

and this is going to be the year that we all pull out of this, we heal, we grow and we get back to

a better place. So there's a lot of hope in it for me. And I really mean that, like, authentically.

I not just like saying, like, you know, oh, yay, hope for the best. Like, I really do have hope that all

the lessons we learned in 2020 and the hardships we had to go through are going to pull us all

through to be better people and a better community in this year. I really, I really have hoped that

that's going to happen. So, nice. Fingers crossed for that. Yes, fingers crossed for that.

I hope name of our podcast has never been more relevant. Honestly, yeah. Fingers crossed for all of the

things that we've all been hoping for. And that's what we've been saying all year is just like

blaming it all in 2020, right? So we can be like, oh, but in 2021 or next year I'm going to like go

on a trip somewhere and all this. And we're going to see if it actually pans out like that.

But hope is all you can have. Everything is temporary for the good and the bad. So we just kind of got a role with it. This too grateful for things as they come. And if it's not going well, know that it's, you know.
