Welcome to the grit don't quit five-day devotional that we get to do together this week.

My name is Bianca Watis Ultaf, and I'm excited to be with you this week for the Daily Drive with Lake Point Church.

If you are at a point in your life where let's get honest, let's get real, you feel like you want to quit, throw in the tell, or just walk away.

This week, I want to root our minds in scripture and learn from one of the greatest followers

of Jesus in human history. Using the writings of my boy, Paul the Apostle, I want to remind you

that no matter how many times you fall down, grit and resilience is built up when you get back up. So let's talk about the importance of

cultivating grit, resilience, and perseverance. That's where I want to start. So today's

Bible reading is out of Philippians 4, so let's dive right in. Paul says this, not that I am speaking

of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation

I am in to be content.

I know how to be brought low and I know how to abound.

In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance

and need.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me, Philippians 411 through 13.

Perhaps there are a moment in life when you wish for a new day.

I mean, heck, you might even wish for a new life right now.
