Hey family, welcome to the Grit Don't Quit five-day

Devotional. My name is Bianca Watis Oldhoff, and I'm excited to be with you this week for the

Daily Drive with Lake Point Church. Now, friends, if you missed yesterday, the podcast that we

dove into, we discussed the importance of developing grit and resilience. Today I want to unpack that

this is a choice. Yesterday was important, but today we're discussing that it's a choice. Yes,

developing perseverance is a choice. So let's check out a word from our sponsor, Paul the

apostle, in his letter to the Romans. He says this, what then shall we say to these things? If God is for us,

who could be against us? He did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all. How will he not

also, with him graciously, give us all things? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors

through him who loved us.

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present,

nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor death, nor anything else in all of creation,

will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
