I think that if we keep like calling it out and making these companies embarrassed to roll out half-ass products and to like have their platforms taken over, made in partnership with The Nation magazine.

I'm your host, Maris Marks, and this week my guest is Jason Kebler.

0:35.8

Jason is a co-host of the 404 Media Podcast.

0:38.9

And if you haven't been following his work at 404 Media recently, then I think you're going

0:44.1

to be fascinated by this conversation. Because Jason has really been digging into all of the

0:48.6

Jason about that. But I also wanted to talk more deeply about what is happening with Facebook

1:42.6

right now? Because it's a platform that we haven't,

1:46.1

I feel like, been paying as much attention to lately. You know, there's a lot of attention

1:49.9

on it when it was accused of affecting the U.S. election and these sorts of questions. But more

1:55.9

recently, the spotlight has kind of been taken off of Facebook and put on other social media platforms.

2:02.4

And as that has happened, the moderation has declined, you know, this AI generated content has boomed.

2:07.7

But there's still a whole lot of people who still use this platform daily in order to talk to their friends, their family, to find out, you know, about the things that
