Are we in mourning here?

Are we accepting all the trades that are going down?

Was it, was it time for them to happen? Well, the inevitability of it all wasn't, was always there.

I mean, I was having this conversation with a fellow fan yesterday and he's like, but the club's in the thick of the playoff hunt.

I'm like, not really.

You know, it's they had roughly a 15 to 20 percent chance, which is still a chance,

but it's one in five chance you're not going to be there.

And the underlying indicators of the team made it a very volatile situation that, you know, they're

allowing more runs and they're scoring. They have their problems. They don't have enough

extra base hits in the lineup type of thing to sustain this. And they also have the toughest

remaining schedule in baseball. So there were a lot of factors playing against them.

I'm just surprised.

The only surprised to me was that it happened before the day of the deadline,

that they did it as they did.

And quite frankly, I think the return from Baltimore sucks.
