Everybody, welcome back. I am Larry Wilmore and this is Black Under Air. Right at the end

0:11.6

of 2017, we're almost at the end. We're going to have the best of podcasts next week.

0:17.7

Today, I'm going to be talking to Ezra Klein, editor at Large, I believe is his title,

0:22.4

over at box.com. Man, you talk about a wonky, smart guy. I'm looking forward to that conversation.

0:29.4

And hope you enjoy that. But thanks for listening. As always, I appreciate everybody out there,

0:34.3

passing it on. So much happens when we're down for like a week. You know, what I pretty much like

0:38.8

to do here, if possible, is like kind of do three weeks in a row and then down for a week.

0:45.0

But that week that you're down so much stuff goes on. And so when I come back, it's always a

1:27.6

Like what's a good tax rate? Like tax cut and tax hike, either one of those is more of a psychological

1:34.8

effect. Like is more of an immediate thing. You know, and the way I view the economy, I think the

1:40.8

economy is more of an organism that has more to do with human behavior than it does have to do with

1:48.0

hard and fast rules. You know, a lot of things that might have been effective 30 years ago might

1:52.4

not be effective right now. Sometimes tax cuts stimulate the economy. Sometimes they don't.

1:57.3

Sometimes it's, you know, stimulus from the government that can do it. You know, each time

2:03.6

there are different things that I believe can be a good stimulus. I do agree with people who feel

2:07.8

like, why do these corporations need tax cuts right now? It doesn't seem necessary. I definitely
