Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I have the joy and privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse.

Before I jump into today's passage in Ezra, I want to pray for someone with a back ache.

Lord, the back is kind of the center of our whole being, and if it hurts, everything hurts.

And so I pray that you would be mindful of my friend who's battling this pain.

I pray that you would bring new physicians into their lives to shed light on what's going on.

I pray if they have a high need for pain killers that you would help them not to be dependent on them.

I pray that there would be other solutions besides surgery, although

sometimes that's the solution. But of course, I also just pray, Lord, that you would just

flat out heal them even as I'm praying this right now. I believe that you're capable of doing

that. Relieve the pain of my friend, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, today we're going to
