How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord is laid for your faith in his excellent word.

Few things are more heartwarming than seeing an abandoned unloved child being welcomed into a loving home.

Now that little one is protected, provided for, and loved just as God intended.

And you know that's the picture that God gave to Ezekiel,

and which Ezekiel wrote down for us,

describing what God did for Israel.

They were like a helpless, desperate baby and God loved them.

In Ezekiel 16, God says to Jerusalem, I adopted you and made you my child.
