How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord is laid for your faith in his excellent word.

When does God say enough?

Does his patience ever run out?

Do his love and mercy ever come to an end?

Well, these are difficult questions, aren't they?

And they have hard answers.

And the Bible teaches us that it's all about our hearts.

which was written to a people who had stiffened their necks against God.

They wanted nothing to do with them, or his prophet, or his word.

At what point will judgment be necessary to bring a rebellious people to their knees? When is it judgment or when is it discipline?

So hearts will turn back to God.
