But their life stories, the struggles and mistakes, are not commonly known. They are human, after all.

So an iconic filmmaker is telling their stories, inspired by his own faith journey.

In Martin Scorsese presents The Saints, streaming on Fox Nation.

We spoke with Jonathan Morris, theologian and Fox News contributor, about this exploration

of faith and doubt, hope and perseverance in the lives of eight of the most famous saints.

Morris is also a former Catholic priest who had a role as a priest in the Irishman, the Scorsese film.

Yeah, first of all, I think most people don't know who Joan of Arc is.

And certainly Catholics of a certain tradition or following of their faith, mostly through their parents or grandparents, have heard of her. But could how many people

would be able to tell her story? And Martin Scores says he does that.
