Stu and I are taping this just a day after the early signing period.

And pretty much about 80 to 85% of the top recruits are already signed now as we're doing this.

And in a few minutes, we're going to be joined by our guest Mario Cristobal from Oregon,

who once again, for the second year in a row, got arguably the nation's top recruit

and certainly the best player in the state of California to commit and sign with the ducks.

And we'll talk to Mario in a couple of minutes.

But, Stu, let's get some thoughts on your takeaways from signing day.

Doesn't I feel like early signing day has kind of taken away a lot of the fun of it?

Like when it was just that one day in February, I feel like all kinds of crazy stuff happens. Uh, like, did we see any

announcements Wednesday? I mean, first of all, we didn't see hardly any announcements because most

kids have already committed, but we didn't see any, you know, Isaiah Crowell bringing his dog,

bringing a bulldog to the ceremony or, Landon Collins' mom crying because he picked

the wrong school.

Like, what, it's just, now it's just like all, who can have the most creative announcements

on social media.

Yeah, I thought what we saw a couple of more, more maybe grown up moments.

It was Emmett smith the legendary

cowboys runner who went to florida making very uh i think a poignant statement about his son

who opted to sign with stanford as opposed to picking the florida hat and going his own path and

i thought that was celebrated and just from watching it when it
