Summary

The road to Super Bowl LX ends in Santa Clara. In a matchup very few would have predicted at the beginning of the season, the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are set for a championship rematch over a decade in the making. While the Patriots pulled off an amazing victory in Super Bowl XLIX, the Seahawks enter this Sunday as the favorites. Three-time Super Bowl champion and FOX Sports analyst Daryl “Moose” Johnston joined Chris Foster earlier this week to break down the X’s and O’s of the big game. Moose explains why he believes Seattle is the most complete team in the NFL and how Sam Darnold successfully "exercised his demons" against the blitz to reach this stage. Moose also discussed his own experience playing in the Super Bowl—sharing how he prepared for the big game and performed with the whole world watching. Additionally, he explains what players actually do during the halftime show and what it was like playing in the Super Bowl when Michael Jackson performed.   We often must cut our interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full conversation.   Today on the FOX News Rundown Extra, we share our entire interview with Dallas Cowboys legend and FOX Sports Analyst Daryl “Moose” Johnston, providing deeper big-game analysis and a look at what it will be like for the players taking the field this Sunday. I'm Chris Foster. It's Super Bowl weekend. Millions of people who don't even care about the Patriots or the Seahawks will be getting into it for the food or the commercials or the musical acts or maybe put a few bucks down or buy a square and hope the score comes up. We focus mostly on the football in our Super Bowl preview with Fox Sports Analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion, Daryl Johnston, also known as Moose. We played 11 seasons as a fullback for the Dallas Cowboys during their run in the 90s.

Daryl Johnson, good to talk to you, man. Neither team was widely expected to be here. What happened? Was everybody just wrong last summer or did they just get better?

1:35.0

I think they both got better. I don't think Seattle is as big a surprise as New England is, but I think New England did a fantastic job in the off season. They had the opportunity

with the cap space that they had coming in in his first year, Mike Vrable, coming back to the New

So I think a lot of that obviously comes in the offseason.

Now, when you have cap space, that doesn't necessarily translate into a successful season.
