Francisco, California.

He both killed people and sent taunting letters to the police, the press, and other individuals.

And then, seemingly vanished.

Here on Mysterious World, we've previously looked at the people the Zodiac definitely killed

and people who he may have killed, and in the future we're going to be looking at who the

zodiac may have been.

But first, we're going to be looking at a theory from an entirely different direction.

Was the Zodiac Killer even real?

Could the Zodiac Killer have been a hoax? And was all the evidence

that he existed manufactured? Next week, we're going to be looking into how the Zodiac

hoax theory would explain the evidence connecting the crimes that we just covered, and whether
