I'm actually talking about in this episode is the Maga Civil War. I just released a very long

essay and an associated podcast that actually reads most of that

essay, an earlier version of it, the title of that essay, and I encourage you to please try to read

it. I know it's 20,000 words long, which means it's the third of a length of a typical book.

The podcast I released, it reads the majority of it. What happened is I edited it after one more time after I read it for the podcast because I found typos and then I felt like I needed to add some things.

So I encourage you to listen to the two hour podcast if you can't read the 20,000 word essay, but I encourage you to read the 20,000 word essay too and share it.

And the title of that essay,

And so I am doing a bullet episode. I'm going to try to keep this under 15 minutes to explain the crucial argument. Now, how am I going to summarize 20,000 words of text

in 15 minutes? I'm going to skip over all the buildup. The essay is organized in four chapters.

I literally call them chapters. There are a little over 5,000 words each on average. One of them

shorter, so it works out.

And I'm just going to talk about the last one. I'm going to talk about the punchline. The other

three set up how this works. And so I'm going to explain two concepts here, which is number one,

elitist capture, which is the mechanism by which MAGA is being taken over by the woke

right. I'm going to explain what's actually happening with MAGA, vis-a-vis if we want to be

cool, the woke right, regarding the woke right. And secondly, I'm going to explain how MAGA

is actually structured as a movement on the big picture scale and how this

elitist capture works. That's the point of my super long essay, which is also the fourth chapter.
