SCP 5935. Blood and the breaking of my heart.

Loss is an unfortunate yet inevitable part of human life, and everyone handles loss in different ways.

Some are overcome with grief, others bury themselves in work or other interests, and many lose a bit of

themselves in the process.

The SCP will be looking at today is about loss, of course, one of the darkest kinds, in which

a parent faces the death of their child.

This is an emotional, hard-hitting article, and while it wouldn't be part of the SCP universe

without some anomalies involved, the core theme is one that is very realistic.

SCP 5935 is an extra-dimensional location in the southern ocean near Antarctica, yet inaccessible by sea.

The ocean surrounding the anomaly is constantly enshrouded in a thick fog,

obscuring the interior of the extra-dimensional space.

Passing through the border of the relatively small anomaly takes you into a much larger interior,

consisting of a single, large,

generally flat landmass. The specific dimensions of this landmass are not provided, but it's

covered in a megacity consisting of hundreds of millions of identical skyscrapers. It's noted

that the total population of the city, known as Pandemonium, is unknown and

irrelevant, which is rather atypical of the foundation.

Additionally, we're told that the intended purpose of the city of Pandemonium is to contain

SCP 595-1, an entity we know nothing about currently.

That leads us into a series of journal entries, which were told were written by an overseer of the SCP Foundation.
