SCP-001, The Ones that got away.

The SCP Foundation is often considered to be one of the most capable organizations within

the weird fiction subgenre, as they tend to have to be to do what they do.

Between their wealth, resources, experience, and even anomalous capabilities, the foundation

often has a firm grasp on protecting Earth and humanity.

Despite all of this though, and despite all of their power, the foundation still routinely has anomalies breaking out of containment.

Surely an organization as great and as experienced as this wouldn't have much trouble

containing a simple statue made of concrete and rebar, and yet containment breaches continue to occur.

This SCP-001 proposal takes a look as to why this might occur, and as to why, perhaps,

those breaches are outside of the foundation's control.

I will take note before we start that this is a somewhat humorous and silly proposal, so

consider this a heads up if humor is off putting to you.

We begin with a video transcript showing a man named Leg, running through the halls of Site

O1, carrying a leather briefcase, and it's noted that he's

already late. He approaches a guarded door, where he's frisked by two armed men, with an

annoyed look on his face. He then proceeds into another hallway and approaches some elevator

doors, checking his watch and cursing. After passing a biometric scan, some elevator doors, checking his watch and cursing.

After passing a biometric scan, the elevator doors open, and he begins to descend down the site, tapping his foot rapidly.

Upon arriving at his destination, he quickly exits and proceeds towards the council room of the

overseers.

He then stands outside of the meeting room's door, opening his briefcase and taking

out a large stack of stapled papers and a USB hard drive.
