podcast. Thank you for having me. So Sean, this is funny because I just saw this last night,

stereotypes and myths about states.

I grew up outside in New York State, as I've told people, they've heard it over and over

again, across the river.

And everybody thinks New York City, that's New York.

Then I move up to upstate New York.

And so there is another New York, right?

There's the other New York.

And Illinois goes through a similar identification issue, right?

Everybody thinks.

Oh, for sure.

Illinois is just one big Chicago.

Yeah.

Typically, they think either I'm in skyscraper land or I'm in just a flat cornfield area because you have Chicago

and then they think the rest is nothing but flat agriculture.

And as you have shown us, there are some beautiful places to hike and explore in Illinois.

But before we get into that, tell us a little bit about yourself, Sean.

So my name's Sean Gospin. I am the founder of Hiking with Sean, which started as a YouTube
