And today's guest is doing just that, but in a slightly different way.

That's right. Our guest is none other than Fabio Maury. He's a traveler, a photographer,

an IT and communication consultant, but he's better known as the Director General of the European

Commission's fictional, yet very impactful Directorate General for memes, satire, and sober

fun, also known as Digimim. Fabio started DG meme in June 2018 to inform about EOtops while entertaining and making

EU politics relatable to citizens.

In Fabio's own words, the European Union is like teenage sex.

Everyone talks about it, but very if you really know about it or how it works.

And DG meme's work consists mostly of producing a staggering amount of witty satirical memes, but not only.

Fabia also has conducted interviews with key EU politicians such as Margaret Vestager,

former executive vice president of the European Commission,

and she's well known for challenging in court the anti-competitive

practices of the big tech companies like Apple, Meta, and Google.

And last year, in a fit that would make even well-established media outlets Green with envy,

Fabio managed to chat with none other than drumroll plays, Ursula von der Leyen, president

of the European Commission.

And not only that, in 2019, DGMeme published its first book in a Kindle format,

Brave Old Europe, or How I Stop Worrying and Love the European Union.
