So we'll go ahead and get started.

When we get started here, in just a moment we're going to be picking up at the beginning of Exodus

Chapter 5.

By way of hopefully brief recap, last time Moses had his encounter on the Holy Mountain with the bush that was burning,

but the fire did not consume it.

He encountered God.

God commissioned him to go to Egypt about 15 times, as Moses continued to beg off and make excuses and counter arguments and ask God to send somebody else.

But eventually he agreed.

And he agreed to go with Aaron and eventually Aaron found him.

And so when we left off, he and Aaron his brother and Moses' immediate family, his wife and his son, who it turned out he had not circumcised his son.

His wife took care of that for him.

And now the family with Aaron, his brother, are ready to go back to Egypt.

And God has told them what is going to happen

and now we are going to watch that unfold.

I don't feel bad about spoilers

because like I figure everybody here

has seen the Ten Commandments and or the Prince of Egypt

and or some other version.

If the version you saw was Exodus gods and kings, I'm sorry.
