We'll go ahead and get started when we get started here in just a moment.

We're picking up the beginning of Exodus Chapter 35.

We don't have to have a huge recap because mainly what we were dealing with last time was

sort of the aftermath of the whole incident with the golden

calf and the violence and everything that ensued and sort of God reissuing the covenant

through Moses with Israel, the people again accepting it and then preparing now to move on from Mount Sinai

in repentance, not in the joy that might have originally come, but to move on from Mount Sinai

and begin heading toward the land of Canaan again. As I mentioned, before we started recording,

you're going to notice something about the material tonight.

It's going to look a lot like the material from a few weeks ago.

And by I looked a lot like, I mean, it's going to be virtually identical.

But we'll talk about that as we go.

We're going to move a little more

quickly through some of this tonight. But even though, as I mentioned, we're moving on from

Mount Sinai, the material we're about to get is not going to be primarily sort of travel log.

Then we move to here, then we move to there, or events happening. It's mainly going to be about the implementation of all those things that God laid out to Moses

while Moses was on top of Mount Sinai, first and foremost the tabernacle,

but then also some of the other commandments that Moses was given.
