Well, friends, last week we covered Exodus, believe it or not, we covered six chapters.

Exodus 26 through 31.

And it was kind of like a heavenly homerama, right?

The Lord, he took Moses through the tabernacle, bit by bit, furniture by furniture.

So Jim, very briefly, for the third or fourth time, remind us again what the

tabernacle symbolized. Why is it not just the biblical equivalent of flyover country? Why should

we care about those chapters? The tabernacle is like a redo of the Garden of Eden. It's a way for

the holy God to dwell in the midst of a sinful people. and what the Lord is doing in a way is replicating

his heavenly throne room on earth and giving the people a way to approach him.

The reason I want to keep repeating that is it is so important for us to know that so that

when we are reading through those parts of Scripture, we'll be kind of keyed in to the theological
