So now let's get some more animals.

You shall also take one ram, and Aaron and his son shall put their hands on the head of the ram,

and you shall kill the ram and take its blood and sprinkle it all around on the altar.

Notice again, now they're putting their hands on the ram.

Well, wait a minute.

If the bull took their place,

why do they need the ram to take their place?

See, again, this interpretation doesn't make sense in the actual text.

And notice again, no description on how to kill it.

But now notice we gave you verse 17.

Then you shall cut the ram in pieces, wash its entrails and legs,

and put them with its pieces and its head.

You shall offer the whole ram on the altar.

It is a whole burnt offering to the Lord for a sweet aroma,

an offering of incense to the Lord.

So again, they butcher it and clean it.

I won't go into too many gory details here, but they've already drained the blood around the altar.

They clean out the entrails because you don't offer the contents of something's intestines to God.

Right.

You get rid of that and you offer all the clean parts of the animal on the altar.
