So we'll go ahead and get started.

When we get started here in just a moment, we'll be picking up beginning of Exodus

Chapter 29.

Last time, of course, we talked about Chapter 28.

That's how these things work.

But Chapter 28 was about, so before before chapter 28 we were talking about the

construction, the design, the implementation of the tabernacle and the structures and veils

and everything involved in the tabernacle. Then chapter 28 was talking about the vestments of the high priests and of the priests.

It's sort of a continuation of that.

And remember all of this that we're reading is in the context of Moses is on top of the

mountain talking to God.

And so we talked about how this is sort of being revealed to him

and that he's designing these things after the pattern of what he sees on the mountain

in the presence of God.

And that this is what Hebrews that we read through a couple years ago is pointing out when

it talks about the things on earth being a shadow of like the heavenly sanctuary.

People want to say that's like this platonist thing.

But no, that's, we've seen here in exodus that he these things are

a copy they're following the pattern right and that's what hebrews is then pointing back to

so um what we're going to get into tonight, logically, follows after the vestments.
