Why we get started here in just a moment? we're going to pick up at the beginning of Exodus

Chapter 18.

So by way of catch-up, last time we talked about, well, two times ago, we talked about how

there were two problems.

We're sort of at the beginning.

We're in between Israel having come through the Red Sea before they get to Mount Sinai.

We're probably, probably tonight, no guarantee,

is going to get to the point where they arrive at Mount Sinai.

But they're on the way.

But as we know, because the text itself has tipped us off,

they're going to end up, it's not just me spoiling,

the text spoiled it itself,

they're going to end up wandering in the Sinai Desert for 40 years.

But there are these two problems, they didn't have food, they didn't have water.

So two Bible studies ago, we talked about how God dealt with the food problem, with Amanda and Quail. Last time we talked about how God dealt with the food problem with manna and quail last time we

talked about how God dealt with the water problem with the water from the rock and we talked about

God coming to stand on the rock et cetera and then after taking care of the water issue, then we got our first major visit from

the Amalekites. As I mentioned, they'll be coming back around here for a while for several

books until we get into Second Samuel or Second Kingdoms, I think the last time. That's the last
