Okay, a little bit of a fake out.

If you're looking at your podcasting everything, oh my gosh, why is this happening on Friday?

As in like, why is this happening on Friday?

Academy Award, Winning Writer, Director, Adam McKay, author, Omer El Codd.

By the way, Omer El Codd, who you probably haven't heard, I imagine, he wrote this incredible

sci-fi book about a future in which there's a war in America that's precipitated by climate

change and a northern government basically that outlots fossil fuels and secession of southern

states.

But he's also from the Middle East and was a work correspondent there.

And so the book functions as both a meditation on our climate future and also like the long

reign of the war on terror in this incredible way.

It's just like an, I really cannot recommend this book enough.

It's going to be him and Adam talking about art, literature, TV, movies, pop culture,

representation of the climate crisis.

I'm really excited.

I think like particularly coming off that Salman Rushdie conversation, it's, it's just

a different space to be in to be talking with creators, creative folks, people who make

fiction who aren't like newsmakers or subject matter experts.
