Don't make Allah a part-time job.

Dr. Kazi originally came to America to pursue his degree at the University of Houston in the summer of 63.

After completing my master's, I wanted to get my PhD and it was my good fortune that I got my admission in doctorate at the University of Houston.

And I came here in the summer of 1963.

And to the best of my knowledge, I was the first full-time Pakistan student at the University

of Houston.

He was able to establish Eid Salat because he was the founder of the MSA, which still runs to this day at U of H.

At that time there were only three persons,

and I was the Imam and there were only two persons.

And this eventually led to more opportunities

such as churches and temples,

calling on Dr. Qazi to be a guest speaker.

The International Office will get several calls

for a guest speaker on Islam.

And I thank Allah that I have the blessings or the chance of

going to many churches here to tell them what Islam is then I start getting called from

different societies and I'll go to different homes.

He even had a chance to cover the issue of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

I think at that time there was close to more than 500 people.

And I was chosen to give that talk.

And I emphasize only one thing that do not confuse that religion and politics are two different things.
