Summary

0:17.2	enforcement learn to have a special sense of impending danger, like a little voice in our heads that goes, God forbid.
0:26.0	God forbid somebody should be planning a terrible crime and no one steps in to stop him.

0:49.4	He took my call from his backyard, somewhere in southern Louisiana.
0:54.7	Back when Foto lived in New York, he was part of an FBI violent crime fugitive task force.
0:59.7	And we work primarily armed bank robberies, home invasion crews, kidnappings, murder for
1:06.6	hires, fugitives, action movie stuff, right?
1:11.5	Sometimes you still think to yourself, like I can't believe I'm doing this right now.
1:17.5	In early September 2012, photo was coming off an unusually busy summer. That June, we had been out of the country for most of the month on a case.
1:28.0	In July, they took down an armored car robbery crew.
1:30.0	So that's a big deal.
1:31.0	We're exhausted.
1:32.0	We roll right into August. In August it was a home invasion crew.
1:35.6	So by the time that's over with we are I mean we're burnt right we're done
1:40.9	Definitely not looking at jumping into some huge case.
1:45.6	Maybe I can kind of take it easy for a little bit. No luck. A new case landed on
1:52.4	photos desk, a case that turned out to be very different from the kind of action movie stuff he was used to.
1:58.5	A case that would change the way Photo understood the world and what other people were capable of.
