Welcome to our Wednesdays broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing a series that I started this last Monday talking about excellence,

how you can have an excellent spirit and how excellence promotes you.

I've already used a number of scriptures, Daniel Chapter 5,

verse 12, Daniel chapter 6,

verse 3, where it says that the reason Daniel was promoted

was because of an excellent spirit.

And that's what this book is all about.

I've got four things that I am listing as qualities of people that have an excellent

spirit and I challenge you that you need to compare your attitude with this excellent attitude that Daniel, Shadrack, Meeschak, and

Abednego had.

And if you will do that, you will prosper the same way that they have prospered.

I've been pointing out the last couple of days

from Daniel Chapter 1, that Daniel and his three friends,

the Hebrew names of Shadrack, Meeschak, and Abednegot were Hananaa, Miss El and Azariah.

But the Babylonians took these four boys, Daniel and his three friends, and I mean they were just very young man at this time. They possibly could have even been teenagers, but in their early 20s for sure and they were taken when
