Today I'm continuing a series that I started a couple of weeks ago talking about excellence.

I have a teaching on this and I tell you it is excellent.

I know that some people think how could you say it about your own teaching but if it doesn't bless me I don't know why it should bless anybody else.

I've been teaching about this and I took

scriptures from Daniel Chapter 5 and Daniel Chapter 6 where it talked about Daniel was

promoted because he had a spirit of excellence.

And you know, everybody wants to be promoted.

Everybody wants the results that Daniel, Shadrack, Meesheck,

Nabedigo had.

Everybody would like to be like Peter that walks on the water, but not everybody

has an excellent spirit. And I've also used a scripture. I believe it's in Psalms chapter 16

verse 3 where it says the Lord was speaking and he talked

about the excellent in the earth wherein is all of his delight. God delights in excellence.

Now he loves all of us regardless of whether there's excellence in our life or not.

And so I'm not saying that you have to be, have an excellent attitude and do everything with excellence in order for God to love you or accept you.

But God made us for excellence.
