We began some weeks ago on a series that we're calling exceedingly growing faith.

And we've gone into some detail about faith, hindrances to faith,

and why faith is little.

We saw examples of no faith,

little faith, and great faith.

Which one you want?

Does everybody have great faith? No. No. Which one you want?

Does everybody have great faith?

No.

Well, how are you going to have great faith when a lot of folks don't?

I'm glad you want to know because that's exactly what we're going to get into. Go with me, please, to Romans the fourth chapter.

Romans four, let's look at our main texts on this.

Romans four and 19.

Talking about Abraham, who is held up as a premier example of faith in the Word of God.

Abraham had and has, he's alive today, just not down here, great faith, amazing faith.

And we are, by faith in in Jesus, we are the children of Abraham.

It said, being not weak in faith, he considered not. His own body now dead when he's about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb.

It lets us know he was not weak in faith.

So you can be weak in faith.

He staggered not at the promise of God.

He considered not the contradictions in his body and Sarah's body to what God said,

and therefore he staggered not.
