0:04.1	You reached out to me. Was it you or someone else that reached out? I don't recall exactly, but I know we did make contact. Yeah. And here we are. We hopped on a phone call. Absolutely. We had a good talk. And I mean, your story, man, is just, it's a very unique perspective, and I really appreciate you trusting me to share it today with my platform.
0:25.2	Well, I think that it's important that people get to really get a real snapshot from both sides, both perspectives, of what jails, prisons, can be like. And sometimes it can be very stressful,
0:43.9	and it depends on how you make it happen for you. For example, I started my career in 1985 as a New York
0:53.3	City Correction correction officer and I
0:55.7	worked in the Robert
0:57.4	N. Davern correction facility which was
0:59.9	known as C-74
1:01.0	back in the days.
1:03.4	And working back in
1:05.6	ARDC and C-74
1:07.3	you get a perspective.
1:10.8	Everyone there was an adolescent and being C74, you get a perspective.
1:12.9	Everyone there was an adolescent.
1:17.9	And being, working with adolescents, they had a lot of testosterone.
1:21.0	So it was fights every single day.
1:24.0	Every time you turned around, the alarm was going off.
1:28.3	And they were fighting each other and stabbing each other and slashing each other. And you had to, as a 25-year-old correction officer, you had to allow yourself to sort of try to
1:37.3	understand you're dealing with kids. And in dealing with kids, it gets rough. And there has been some really rough situations in C-74.
1:48.3	I remember one specific incident, and there were quite a few of them,
1:52.1	but one was the reason why they took baby oil out of the jails, like in C-74,
