Summary

Speaking up for yourself is vital for personal development. Sometimes, like we are seeing in the United States now, we must speak up for others. We may not know exactly what to say or how to say it, and that is okay, but staying silent during times of injustice will only hinder our human potential and continue to allow social inequality. I, personally, am becoming as educated as I can to more effectively communicate my support and lift up my fellow man through grace.

0:23.9

know how you guys are feeling but I've been feeling I've been feeling pretty high alert and pretty

0:29.8

kind of like a little on edge all day so before we even get into today's podcast you know

0:35.3

something I would normally do off air I want to do on air. I want to do on air. And I want to do

0:39.0

this because I feel like there's probably a lot of people listening to this episode right now

0:43.2

that are feeling similar ways to how I've been feeling. And the other day, I was at a really,

0:49.5

really low point. I'll tell you right now, I'm in a good spot. So that's why I'm recording this.

0:54.0

That's why I'm able to talk about these things right now, I'm in a good spot. So that's why I'm recording this. That's why I'm

0:54.6

able to talk about these things right now. But I haven't been. And I've been in a really difficult and

1:00.1

hard spot recently. And, you know, I was at kind of one of my lowest spots the other day. And in one of my

1:06.4

lowest spots, you know, one of my friends came over and he was like, man, I've, I've actually never seen you

1:11.6

like this. And I paused for a second and like, I just had this blank stare on my face. Like I thought

1:16.5

he was about to judge me. And he was like, come on. And I was like, what? And, you know, we go over to the

1:21.1

couch and kneel down and he says a prayer for me. And it really, really helped. And it's really what I needed in that moment.

1:29.0

And you guys knowing me, you guys listening to the show, you would probably think that that's

1:33.9

something that I would do for myself. You know, God's a huge part of my life in a really real way.

1:38.9

And so you would think that like that's what I would do. And, you know, I think a lot of the times I do, but man, I just,

1:44.6

I was so dark in this hole. I was so, I was so, so down in there that I really needed an

1:50.9

outside source. I needed someone to do that for me in that moment. And it was just, it was really

1:56.1

impactful for me. So I want to be that for you today. I want to be able to do that for you. So and, you know,

2:02.4

it's for myself too. I don't want to come into this podcast, um, just with myself. I want to come
