0:41.2	can you give a little bit of a history lesson?
0:43.0	Absolutely, Dylan.
0:44.0	So the super charging network is a concept that Tesla had early on when it first came to
0:50.2	the public markets.
0:51.8	It began in 2012 when Tesla rolled out, I think, six charging stations and they envisioned
0:58.5	a network of thousands and I went back to some old conference calls back in 2011, 2012
1:05.7	and Elon Musk predicted that one day this charging network would be global, would span
1:11.0	the United States, many other continents and that has largely panned out the super charging
1:17.0	network has now about 45,000 charging stalls and all distributed across 5,000 stations globally.
1:25.1	Now this thing that you called NACS, the North American charging standard, which I promise
1:30.1	we'll refer to as NACS from here on out, is interesting and the easiest way to wrap your
1:36.0	head around it is just to visualize a charging connector.
