This hour, we are going to begin in Texas, where opening statements got underway for the trial of a former Yuvaldi Texas school police officer, accused of not doing more to save lives in the 22 massacre that left 19 students and two teachers dead.

Adrian Gonzalez pleaded not guilty to 29 counts of child abandonment

or endangerment. This is following the attack at Robb Elementary School. He's accused of putting

children in imminent danger of injury or death, and they say that he didn't engage, distract,

or delay the shooter by not following his training.

These allegations also say that he didn't go toward the gunfire despite hearing the shots

and being told the shooter's specific location.
