0:24.7	Good and glad you could come on the show. I met Paul at a conference I was at in the fall.
0:30.4	Really wanted to have him on the show because Paul is extremely knowledgeable about cryptocurrency,
0:35.6	cryptography, and I thought he'd be an excellent guest to
0:38.5	really kind of help our listeners here really better understand the topic of cryptocurrency,
0:44.1	cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, anything that's associated. So Paul, welcome to the show.
0:49.2	Thank you. So let's get started. Let's talk a little bit about your background. Tell the listeners
0:52.7	a little bit about you so they can understand kind of the depth of your knowledge here.
0:56.8	Fundamentally, I do two things on a daily basis. One is I'm a writer. I write a monthly newsletter called Freemans Perspective slash Parallel Society.
1:05.6	I've been writing that since 2011. I've been writing books since the 1980s. They began with engineering, sort of construction
1:14.9	books, electrical industry, everything from electrical contractors, engineers, and so on. Then I moved
1:22.5	into fiber optics, and I fell in love with this whole cryptography universe. Accordingly, I also run a company
1:30.7	called CryptoHippie, which provides actual privacy on the internet. We run a on anonymity
1:38.0	network, which is the only way you can really be private on the internet, and with all sorts of
1:43.7	encryption and fancy crypto doodads.
1:47.2	And so we run that company.
1:49.0	So between that and the newsletter, I'm pretty much a busy boy.
